The ATA (DXG) series shaft-mounted gearboxes are designed for quarry and mine applications and produce fantastic reliability with a low maintenance requirement. The robust and sturdy ductile iron housing is ideally suited for outdoor installation, and it comes with up to three optional output shaft bore diameters.

The output shaft can rotate in two directions, with clockwise as the default setting while counter-clockwise is the customizable setting. There is an optional backstop for all models in the ATA (DXG) series shaft mounted gearbox apart from the ATA30, which prevents back-driving when used with incline conveyors. With dimensions, the same as the Bonfiglioli from the ATA Series, the ATA (DXG) Series features a double-lipped oil seal that is also dust-proof.

Installation of ATA (DXG) Series Shaft Mount Gearbox:

The following installation instructions must be followed.1. Ensure that the gearbox is properly installed to prevent loosening. Install hydraulic couplings, torque limiters, etc., if necessary for use in situations of overload or vibration.

2. Before painting, there must be protective measures on the machining surface of parts and the outer surface of the oil seal to prevent the paint from drying on the rubber and damaging the sealing function.

3. Before the gearbox is used, it shall be ensured that the equipment connected with the gearbox shall comply with the relevant technical regulations.

4. Before starting the machine, ensure that the oil surface conforms to the assembly position specified by the gearbox, and the oil’s viscosity should be suitable for the gearbox.

5. For outdoor installation, Proper measures must be taken to protect the motor from rain or sun exposure.

6. Before assembly, each mounting surface must be cleaned and properly treated to prevent rust.
